We'll start with a blue Sidekick LX. You'll need a screwdriver with a T6 Torx bit, just like in the Sidekick 3 disassembly: |
| First we take off the back cover and the battery, and then we take out all 8 screws around the edges. The two screws close together at each end of the device hold the buttons on - they don't snap off like the ones on the Sidekick 3 do: |
| Flip the Sidekick over, and turn the screen a little bit. This keeps it from getting in the way of carefully pulling the button panels off. |
